Lloyds designed and created my beautiful extending dining table and matching buffet! They are gorgeous and the staff has always been wonderful. They stand behind their products. When I accidentally scratched the base of my buffet, they sent repair oil! When I moved out west and thought I lost the pins that hold up shelves in my buffet, they immediately offered to replace them for me. Excellent all around! I strongly recommend Lloyds if you’re looking for a unique piece that you will love forever and staff that are thoughtful and truly stand behind their products!
From the time we walked into the showroom until our new furniture was delivered they were very nice to deal with . The whole family ( family owned instead of a corporate box store) including the delivery guys were friendly and professional. Can’t say enough nice things about Lloyd’s furniture. They made us feel like part of the family instead of a sale. Highly recommend
We purchased a new bedroom suite. We were told it would take 6 weeks to be made. We were renovating the bedroom so we were good with this. After 3 weeks we were called and told we needed to pay the balance so the bedroom set could be delivered. When we questioned the quick turnaround the women on the phone said we were getting the floor model. We said no we purchased a new set that was being made for us. At first she argued we us, put us on hold and came back to say she was on cold medicine and was confused. We were getting a new set. Needless to say we were skeptical that this was the case. We spoke to Mark and Leslie 3 times over the next 2 weeks and we were assured it was a new set. When we went into the showroom to pay the balance, the floor model was gone. They assured us again at that time we were getting a new set. When the set was delivered we compared it to pictures we took of the floor model and sure enough it confirmed that it was the floor model. We asked for some of our money to be returned. Lloyd’s was unwilling to compensate us. The worst of it was that We were lied to several times! This company cannot be trusted. We will not be returning and we are spreading the word of the terrible service we received.
Bought a Wormy/Ambrosia Maple live edge dining table with 6 chairs for $4600 (first time buying from them) The finishing and the stain looks perfect but the table is supposed to be hardwood and first day my toddler daughter was able to put a dent with a light toddler spoon. Then some more appeared in following 5 days. My wife called and the rude man on phone was dismissive saying “I dont know what your toddler is doing” “thats why we dont use pine as its easy to scratch” “blah blah blah” and asked for us to email in pictures. Due to this horrible post sales customer service experience, we decided to take it as a lesson and dont bother and just avoid this store in future and warn friends and family. We have been using the table for more than 3 weeks now and more marks appeared including one from bottom of a glass beer bottle (regular usage). Let me tell you the workmanship might be good but the durability of the wood is questionable as it’s easily scratched. Overall it’s not worth the price. Lessons the owners can take home: Please educate your staff on how to do good customer service. Many times aging staff dont know how to be polite, old school mannerisms are unacceptable in modern day. Replace them or train them well. Customer doesn’t spend a lot of money at your store to deserve the unprofessional attitude and horrible temperament. Decided to put the pics here so potential buyers might get a glimpse of post sales experience.
My wife and I love to walk through their showroom. We purchased an entire bedroom suite. We had moved north of Orillia but we were able to come to a mutually agreeable date for delivery. The two delivery people set the entire room up for us and removed the packing materials. Unlike the company that you point and it’s gone, with Lloyds you point and exactly what you ordered appears. We have been back to buy more furniture since that time.
I've bought a few furniture pieces from here. The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding and built to last. I'm always happy, with the price I pay, for the quality I get. I recommend going here before any big box store. Everything is solid wood, not a piece of particle board to be found.
It is a great place to buy furniture they have sales going all the time the staff are wonderful the owner will make a deal for the furniture if you want it's just a great place to buy furniture they don't just have would they have coaches and they're really really nicely priced
